Neon genocide then made molds and cast them in resin. I hand sculpted the belt and silver designs on the bracer. (40 tiny button holes UGH!)Īll of the sewing (including the pouches) was done by me, and it was annoying. It is riveted into the jerkin and is removeable. Chest and back armor were made from polystyrene plastic sheeting and rubber tubing by Neon Genocide. The beautiful leather work on the gauntlets, belts, and pauldron were done by Neon Genocide. Gauntlet bases, belts, pouches, shoulder pauldron, and boot spats were made from real leather and dyed to be the correct brown color- there is no vinyl or faux leather on the costume. I ended up having to create my own patterns or greatly alter patterns for most of it - especially that hood with a gazillion seams! AH! This is going to be a bunch of random thoughts mashed all over the place!Įach layer is its own full coat that fully close with buttons or hooks.
